Christ the King, a mission congregation of the Charismatic Episcopal Church, held its first meeting in September 2006 in a home in Tolono, IL.  Within a few months, the new congregation moved into the historic Senator's Inn at 801 N. Dunlap (Rt. 45) in Savoy.  A church plant of Christ the King Church in Sharpsburg, Georgia, the new work is under the oversight of Bishop Craig Bates.  The church's vicar, or mission pastor, is Father David Epps.
