What is our mission?
To minister the healing of Christ throughout
the world under the authority of the Charismatic Episcopal Church.
What is our vision?
We believe that health is a state of complete
well-being body, soul, and spirit. We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ gave
Himself to provide this for all mankind, and that this state of health and well-being is
to be ministered to the world by His Church through His Spirit.
We believe that the attainment of this highest
possible level of health is the Church's worldwide goal and requires the assistance of a
devoted Society within the Charismatic Episcopal Church. This Society utilizes lay
professional nurses and other medical personnel to minister to bodily needs. Because
each individual is, besides body, a soul and spirit, and because Christ's ministry is
always to the whole man, this Society also includes the promotion of health through
evangelism, education, prayer ministry, and the administration of the gifts of the Holy
Spirit as He wills.
The Society of Christ the Healer responds to
the expressed or felt needs of each foreign parish or diocese in a spirit of partnership
and service, always respecting and supporting their individuality and self-determination.
Matthew 4:24
"And they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases
and torments and those demon-possessed and He healed them."
