LAY EUCHARISTIC MINISTRY
The Lay Eucharistic Ministers of
Christ the King serve in various ways. They may serve as
Chalice Bearers and Lay Readers during services, but the primary
duty that our Lay Eucharistic Ministers perform is the
distribution of Holy Communion to the children in the Nursery
(called "King's Kids") and to the children in Children's
Church during the Sunday morning 10:00 A.M. service, and to bring
Communion to those who could not be present at the Sunday morning
services due to illness or infirmity.
All Lay Eucharistic Ministers are
trained and licensed by the Diocese of Georgia to serve at Christ
the King Church. Click
